25:04

This Post-Show Talk is moderated by International Curatorial Advisor Cathy Levy in conversation with Eric Gauthier, Shawn Wu, and Bruna Andrade from Gauthier Dance. Recorded on July 31, 2026, following the company's performance in the Ted Shawn Theatre. Gauthier Dance//Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart brought its extraordinary blend of precision, power, and play to the Ted Shawn Theatre stage in Festival 2026. Led by artistic director Eric Gauthier, the company of 16 dynamic dancers has earned international acclaim for its bold repertoire and magnetic performances. The program included "The FireWorks Project," a program showcasing nine U.S. premiere works by leading choreographers including Mauro Bigonzetti, Virginie Brunelle, Stijn Celis, Dominique Dumais, Johan Inger, Benjamin Millepied, Barak Marshall, and Sofia Nappi. The line-up is rounded off by a special world premiere by Rena Butler, which was created on site in Becket in the week prior to the performances. In the second half of the program, audiences experienced pieces by Sharon Eyal, Eric Gauthier, and Greek choreographer Andonis Foniadakis. Together, these works formed a joyful, high-octane tour de force that captured the company’s trademark wit, musicality, and fearless physicality. Video by Nel Shelby Productions.
