PillowTalk: Perspectives on Latine Dance in the U.S. with Eduardo Vilaro, Nélida Tirado, and Luis Salgado

The United States is the second largest Spanish speaking country in the world. In February 2026, Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny’s Superbowl Halftime Show broke viewership records. Yet the variety, depth, and impact of Latine dance in the U.S. is not celebrated as widely as it could be. In this conversation moderated by Ramón H. Rivera-Servera, hear from three dynamic artists contributing their perspectives to U.S. dance: Artistic Director of Ballet Hispánico New York Eduardo Vilaro, Festival artist Nélida Tirado, and Luis Salgado, a Choreographer/Director of The School at Jacob's Pillow: Musical Theatre Performance Ensemble.
