Future Figures 2025: Dance and Emerging Technologies Artist Talk #4

As a part of the Doris Duke Theatre Opening Week Celebration, Future Figures: Dance and Emerging Technologies offered a series of artist talks aiming to cultivate a sense of wonder and possibility surrounding the use of new technology to advance the field of dance, and provide more access for all. In Artist Talk #2, artist and transmedia storyteller d. Sabela grimes began with a lightning talk. For the main talk, Memo Atken, musician, artist, and researcher, and Katie Peyton Hofstadter, multidisciplinary artist, writer, and curator, described the process behind their film "Superradiance," which interweaves dance, poetry, music, and AI generative imagery. This talk took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025 in the Jameson Family Lobby of the Doris Duke Theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. Video by Nel Shelby Productions.
