Post-Show Talk: Youth America Grand Prix

This Post-Show Talk is moderated by Historian and Founding Director of Preservation Norton Owen in conversation with Larissa Saveliev and Braylon Browner of Youth America Grand Prix. Recorded on October 17, 2026, following the company's performance in the Doris Duke Theatre. Youth America Grand Prix's "Fresh Voices in Dance" showcased the next generation of choreographic talent emerging from the ballet world. Following a global search, Youth America Grand Prix selected eight inaugural fellowship recipients to create original works: Braylon Browner, William Dugan, Davidson Farias, Manoela Gonçalves, Alexander Mockrish, Nnamdi Nwagwu, Isabella Howard, and Pillow Alum My'Kal Stromile. The program marked the first-ever public presentation of work developed through Youth America Grand Prix’s groundbreaking new choreographic fellowship initiative. Performers in the program include dancers from ABT Studio Company, Houston Ballet II, Alberta Ballet School, The Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, San Francisco Ballet School, The HARID Conservatory, and School of Philadelphia Ballet.
