Short Documentary: Martha Graham Dance Company

This Post-Show Talk features Janet Eilber, Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Dance Company, and dancers Xin Ying and Lloyd Knight, moderated by Scholar-in-Residence Maura Keefe. The talk took place on August 18, 2023 following a performance of the Martha Graham Dance Company at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, MA. 2023 Post-Show Talks were held at Jacob's Pillow after each Friday performance in the Ted Shawn Theatre, offering an opportunity for audiences to gain more insight directly from the artists themselves. The preceding performance featured the work “Errand into the Maze” and “Cave of the Heart,” both choreographed by Martha Graham, as well as “CAVE,” choreographed by Hofesh Shechter.
