Trailer: Dorrance Dance Plays the Pillow (Encore)

In this site-specific world premiere, Dorrance Dance explored the unique and enchanting environment of the Pillow grounds. These special daytime performances took audiences on a roving journey that showcased the Pillow’s campus in a never-before-seen (nor-heard) way. Set to live music by Keyon Harrold, Donovan Dorrance, Aaron Marcellus, Gregory Richardson, and Christopher Marc. Witness dance come alive at the Pillow’s Pub, surrounding nature, and more unique locations around the Pillow Grounds. Commissioned by Jacob’s Pillow with leadership support from Gerry and Hank Alpert. Dorrance Dance Played the Pillow was filmed live during Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival 2021.
